Patronage Shares (Shared Revenues) are a traditional way used by cooperatives to share profits with their members. It is the instrument of a dividend system that allows the sharing and reinvesting of these profits in a transparent and mutually beneficial way.
Each member owns a Patron share, which gives them the right to exercise a vote and also equally share in GDC's annual profits.
The Patronage share is a portion of the Co-operatives Act that makes the legal structure of a co-operative different from that of a company or corporation, allowing people with little or no financial means to contribute to the business and benefit from their participation.
Expansion pools
For Standard, Premium and Premium Elite Members
All our memberships who are made up of individuals (not companies) share the profits generated by the Expansion Pool, that is, a joint financial fund intended for distribution among the participants. We can describe an Expansion Pool as a monetary fund where participants under certain pre-set conditions receive the available accumulated amount.
All participants of the "City Director program" Globally, market products - which are advertising spaces in AiYellow and registrations in the Ubiz Mobile App - that generate a GDC revenue. Each member receives a percentage of that income - 2.5% for Standard membership, 7.5% for Premium membership and 15% for Premium Elite membership- which is distributed equally among its members. We call them Expansion because access to the profits to be received comes from points earned by activities that stimulate the expansion of GDC.
The only requirement to access the Standard and Premium memberships Expansion Pool is to score a specific number of points, which are, achieved by carrying out collaborative activities aimed at strengthening the cooperative and stimulating its expansion. The accumulated funds come from all the purchases made by all participants of the '1000% City Director' business model at a global level, without distinction of business unit or territory.
